I’m an Artist, A Software Engineer and An Entrepreneur. Creativity is an essential part of my life, without it I wouldn’t know what to do. I have found a way to integrate all three of my aspect into an open source music store for the Joomla content management system. Check out my new project Maian Music for Joomla.

What type of artist are you?
I'm a hip-hop artist.
Give a brief history of yourself:
I consider my self a vagabond. Born in Ann Arbor, MI moved to Nigeria when i was only a baby, came back to the states and live in Detroit until l i was about 12. Then I moved to Grosse Pointe which is a suburb of Detroit. Then i went to school in Alabama and once I graduated I some how ended up in Washington D.C.
My Style of music deals with my perception of this world and my existence and place in it so far. I put a lot of emotion into my music. Honestly I don't really like hip-hop today cause there is no creativity. It's all about what sells. So hopefully you can listen to some of my tracks and let me know what you think.
What is the next goal for Alao?
Well I have just finished up my studio production of my very first independent album Visions of a Better Life. In the next couple of months i will be trying to promote it.
Describe your shows visually and musically:
Well i haven't preformed a lot recently but it seems that when i do people really get into what I'm saying. I just hope to reach people through my words
What's your outlook for the recoding industry?
It sucks and I'm glad the internet is taking the power away from them. They have been pimping artist for way too long. The power is in the hands of the people.
What are your musical influences?
Tupac, Pink Floyd, The Steve Miller Band, Nas, Lauren Hill, Nirvana, the list goes on and one. I mostly like alternative rock
What are your non musical influences?
Life...Every person that I meet with i take away a piece of them and incorporate it into my music.

What inspires you to do what you do?
The world around is is full of inspiration. Some will over look it. All you have to do is become more aware of your surrounding. Everyday life inspires me.
